If you’ve been seeing those tiny flower bracelets all over your feed lately, you’re not imagining it. They’re everywhere this summer, and for good reason. They’re quick to make, use almost no yarn, and look way more complicated than they actually are. This free crochet bracelet pattern includes two versions: a simple tied chain bracelet and a double-strand look that’s been going viral. Both use the same small flower motif, so once you make one flower you’ve basically got both patterns covered.
Materials Needed
- Cotton yarn in your flower color(s)
- Crochet hook suitable for your yarn
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Fabric glue (optional, for Pattern 1)
Abbreviations
- MR – Magic Ring
- Ch – Chain
- Dc – Double Crochet
- Sl St – Slip Stitch
- Sc – Single Crochet
The Flower (Make as many as needed)

MR, Ch 2, Dc 2, Ch 2, Sl St – repeat x5
You will have 5 petals total. Fasten off for Pattern 2. For Pattern 1, leave a long tail before fastening off, you will have 2 strands of yarn, do not cut any of them.
Pattern 1: Simple Chain Bracelet

Make 5 flowers. Before fastening off each flower, leave a long tail, do not cut it short.
Ch 55 or an appropriate number of chains that match your wrist size.
Tie each flower around the chain using the leftover tail, spacing them evenly, or glue them in place. That’s it.

Pattern 2: Double Strand Viral Bracelet (N Glue/ No Sewing)

Make 4 flowers (optional).
To attach the cord, start by attaching your yarn to the back of the first petal. Skip one petal and Ch 4, then Sc to the 3rd petal. Ch 7 and repeat the same steps for the rest of the flowers. At the last flower, Ch 2 and Sc to the petal right next to it to turn backward and make the second strand, then Ch 4 and Sc to the first petal you started with and repeat chaining 4, skip petal, sc to the next and ch7.
This creates a double cord or strand instead of one, giving this bracelet that viral braided summer look.
