๐งต Materials :
- Yarn: 100% cotton or acrylic (DK / worsted weight)
- Hook: 3mmโ4mm hook (depending on your yarn thickness)
- Keychain rings or lobster clasps
- Yarn needle (for weaving ends)
- Scissors
- Optional: Polyfill (for stuffed shapes), stitch marker
These Materials are all we need for all of our projects.
Each of these patterns uses only basic stitches:
Abbreviations ( US terms )
ch (chain)
sc (single crochet)
inc (increase = 2 st in one stitch)
dec (decrease = sc2tog)
sl st (slip stitch).
tr triple crochet
1. ๐ 3D Heart Keychain

Skill Level: Beginner
Hook: 3.5 mm
Yarn: Any DK cotton
Pattern:
- MR.
- ch3, 3 tr, 3 dc this makes the first half of the heart.
- ch 1, 1 tr, ch 1this makes the peak.
- 3 dc, 3 tr,ch2 this makes the second half.
- Sl st into MR to close.
- Fasten off and weave ends.
Make another one, sew them together, before closing fill it with microfiber filling.
Add a keyring through the top dip of the heart and done in 5 minutes!
2. Heart Bookmark

If you have made the previous heart pattern successfully, You can use it in different ways, one of which is this Bookmark.
Simply take a thread of yarn, insert it from the back, at the dip and the peak of each heart connecting all of them until you have your desired length.

3. โญ Simple Crochet Star

Pattern:
- 5 sc in MR.
- slst to join.
- ch3, 2dc in the same st, ch3, (3dc, ch 3) ร 4, slst into the top ch3 and sc.
- in each of the 3 chain space make (3dc, ch3, 3dc), then 1 sc in each of the middle dc from previous row.
- Fasten off and attach to ring.

4. ๐ Smiley Face Keychain

Pattern:
- Magic ring, 12 sc, slst to join, ch2.
- Round 2: inc in each st (24), slst to join, ch2.
- Round 3: (1dc , inc) all around, slst to join, ch2.
- Round 4: (2dc , inc) all around.
- Sl st, ch1 to fasten off.
- Leave a long tail for sewing.
- Make another one and sew them together
Use black yarn to embroider eyes and a smile.
This pattern can be used as an applique for kids bags, beanies, as a coaster with or without the embroidery.

5. Flower Keychain

Pattern:
- Magic ring, 5 sc.
- (slst, Ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st) ร 5 petals.
- Change color if desired.
- Add a small bead or contrasting stitch in the center.
this is so simple, take literally minutes to make and does not require any advanced skills, you can easily make it as a keychain, put these puff flowers on cardigans, or hats, once you made it, the ideas start flowing on how to utilize it in different designs.
6. Granny Square

Pattern:
- MR, ch 12, slst to join.
- change color, Ch 3 (counts as dc), 2 dc in the same st, ch2.
- (3 dc, ch 2) ร 11, slst to the 1st dc to join, ch1 and cut your yarn, this will make the sunflower.
- To make the first border, attach new color, ch3, 2dc in the chain space.
- 3dc in the next space, these two make the first side.
- for the corners make ( 3dc, ch2, 3dc ) each corner, you will have 4 at the end.
- Make another border if you want the same way.
- Fasten off and block.
You can use it to make beanies, bags, pouches, wallets, blankets, literally it’s up to imagination both the use and the color combinations are endless.

7. โ๏ธ Crochet Crescent Moon

I love this pattern cause it will teach you the proper way to increase any flat round pattern.
While it does has some advanced level stitches, the shaping is totally optional, it is just to add some texture.
Round 1:
10 hdc in a magic ring. (10 sts)
Round 2:
Inc in each stitch around. (20 sts)
Round 3:
(1 hdc, inc) repeat around. (30 sts)
Round 4:
(2 hdc, inc) repeat around. (40 sts)
change color optional.
Round 5:
(3 hdc, inc) repeat around. (50 sts)
Round 6:
(4 hdc, inc) repeat around. (60 sts)
๐ Shaping the Crescent
Do not join after Round 6, keep your hook in place.
[ hdc, (dc,tr) ,tr, (dc,hdc), hdc ] ร 15
Fasten off, sew the ends together and fill it before closing
8. Mini Bag Keychain ๐

Pattern:
- Ch 12.
- hdc in 2nd ch and across .
- Do not turn, continue working in the back loops of the chain to make an oval base.
- Continue in rounds for 7 more rounds.
- Mark the middle of both sides so you have equal chains on both sides.
- From one mark, hdc 3, then Ch 8 for handle, skip 5 ch attach the chain you just made to the next st, hdc in the next 7 st, make another handle and attach it to the opposite side.
Sew a heart like the one we made earlier to the bag, it’ll give it a great look.
9. Crochet Coaster

This pattern might look intimidating but it is actually so easy and once you get it done, it will boost your confidence as a new crocheter.
It is worked in rounds, each round we increase the number of stitches until we reach our desired diameter, this make it so adjustable to any size you choose, it follows the same pattern.

Cap:
- Magic ring, 6 sc.
- inc x 6 (12)
- (sc 1, inc) ร 6 (18).
- Work round of sc.
- ( sc, inc, sc ) x 6 (24)
- sc ( 24 )
Stem:
- R 1 – Sc 6 (06)
- R 2 – (Sc, Inc) x 3 (09)
- R 3 – Sc 9 (09)
- R 4 – (Sc, Dec) x 3 (06)
- R 5-6 – Sc 6 (06)
- R 7 – Inc 6 (12)
- R 8 – (Sc, Inc) x 6 (18)

12. Watermelon Keychain

Pattern:
- ch9
- sc all around no turning โถ this will make the foundation base.
- make 3 more sc rows using green yarn.
- change to white and make one sc round, one dec at each corner.
- repeat the last step using red yarn for 7-8 rows.
- once you have 3-4 stitches left, ch1 and cut off a long tail, using a needle, insert the yarn through the remaining st and pull tight .
- weave the ends and embroider eyes and smile or seeds

13. ๐ป Simple Daisy Keychain
Pattern:
- Magic ring.
- Yellow: 6 sc.
- White petals: (Ch 4, 3 dc, sl st in next st) ร 6.
- Fasten off and attach.
14. Small Hair Bow

Pattern:
63 ch
1 hdc in next 6 ch from second ch.
slst 1 in next 6 ch.
hdc 1 in next 16 ch.
slst 1 in next 6 ch.
hdc 1 in next 16 ch.
slst 1 in next 6 ch.
hdc 1 in the next 6 ch
1 ch + turn the pattern.
Rows (R2-R5)
repeat the pattern
only in the back loop
15. ๐ฆ Mini Butterfly

Pattern:
- Magic ring: (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 3, sl st) ร 4.
- Fold in half; tie yarn in center for body.
- Add antennae with chain stitches.
16. Simple clutch bag

Pattern:
- Ch until you reach your desired bag width.
- Row 1: sc across, ch1 turn.
- Repeat until you reach your desired height.
- Fasten off and edge with sc.
- Fold it to three thirds to make the shape as in the image above.

17. Ribbed beanie

Beanies is almost every beginner first big project.
It might feel intimidating or complex but I prepared a full size guide along a full video tutorial for you.
Pattern:

- In 2nd ch: hdc across.
- ch1, turn, hdc across till the last 4 stitches, sc or slst in those, ch1 and turn
- repeat till reaching your desired width.
- Sew both ends together, leave a long tail, pull it through all st in the crown.
- Weave the ends and fasten off.
It’s Important to understand, each one has thier own size, so always check before finishing off your piece.
