- MR – Magic Ring
- Ch – Chain
- Sc – Single Crochet
- Hdc – Half Double Crochet
- Dc – Double Crochet
- Tr – Treble Crochet
- Sl St – Slip Stitch
- Inc – Increase (2 stitches in the same stitch)
Sunflower Center (Make 2)
Using brown & green yarn make 2 identical circles.
Round 1
MR, 6 Sc into the ring. (6)
Round 2
Inc in each stitch around. (12)
Round 3
(Sc, Inc) around. (18)
Round 4
(Sc, Inc, Sc) around. (24)
Fasten off, put both circles on top of each other and join yellow yarn for the petals through both circles under both loops, before closing the circle, fill it with fiber.
Sunflower Petals
Work the following sequence into each stitch around the flower center:
[Ch 1, (Hdc, Dc), Ch 2, (Dc, Hdc), Sl St]
Repeat the entire sequence 12 times around the flower.
